DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in the rich tradition of Indigenous culture as we honor the exceptional talents of Native chefs\, who infuse the stories of first foods into every bite. \nThe evening opens with a warm welcome reception featuring Native artisans\, live performances and a cultural blessing. Guests will then gather for a remarkable multi-course dinner showcasing the artistry and vibrant flavors of Indigenous cuisine\, prepared by three Native chefs. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with wines crafted by Native winemakers in collaboration with the wine director of The Allison Inn & Spa. \nSpecial guest speaker\, Elaine Chukan Brown\, will lead conversations on Native heritage\, food and land stewardship. The evening will end with a Q&A session with the chefs. \nFeaturing culinary creations by:\n \nJack Strong\nExecutive Chef at The Allison Inn & Spa\nMember of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians \n \nNephi Craig\nExecutive Chef at the Rainbow Treatment Center and Café Gazhóó\nMember of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and half Navajo \n \nRobert Kinneen\nCultural Director at NATIFS\nAlaska Native of Tlingit heritage \nTwo ticket options: \n\n$195 per person\, includes alcohol\n$145 per person\, without alcohol\n\nA portion of ticket proceeds benefit the Northwest Native Chamber.
